Insomnia – Where is Ted Price, the creator of Insomniac games from?

Insomnia :

I’m a hard core Sypro fan, and I’ve noticed a lot of games/levels resemble a swamp area like Louisanna. None of the other levels remind me of any other place. I was really curious to see where he grew up, and if it was a swamp area.
