<p>You can take a hot bath just before hitting the bed. This would help you feel relaxed. Lavender oil is an excellent calming agent. You can use it for your bath and it would help you loosen up and feel at ease. It is necessary that you go to sleep only when you are feeling drowsy. Make it a habit to get up in the morning at the same time everyday no matter how many hours you get to sleep.</p>
<p>If you think watching TV would help you fall asleep think again. Be sure not to sit in front of the television or the computer at least an hour before going to bed. The reason is that by watching television or sitting on the computer can increase stress levels which might create difficulty while falling asleep.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m almost never tired until very very late at night. But then I sleep in until very late. But starting in a week, I have to get up at about 5 am for school. That means going to bed at like 9. Which is VERY early for me. I never ever feel tired at that time. I have tried EVERYTHING to try and get tired to fall asleep. Nothing has worked. So don&#8217;t give me advice for that. I just don&#8217;t feel tired and can&#8217;t sleep. How do I get into the habit of this foreign sleep schedule before school starts?<br />
 Like today for example. Last night I went to bed very late. I had to get up at five (for an orientation for school) and I felt extremely sick. I wasn&#8217;t hungry for breakfast. (I never am) and I was so tired. I felt extremely jittery, shaky, and nervous. And I had anxiety attacks and felt overheated, like I was going to puke or pass out.<br />
 I really need help to get to bed early to get up early and not feel so awful in the morning.<br />
 Sorry this is so long!

<p>my cousin is moving into my room for a month. My bed already sucks. it&#8217;s two stupid twin size mattresses on top of each other. they are kinda hard and I hate them. Now I&#8217;m being forced to separate the mattresses and put one on the other side of the room for her. okay i don&#8217;t mind it at all i love my cousin but now i&#8217;m going to be even more uncomfortable. and she won&#8217;t sleep well either!<br />
what ways could I make it more comfortable?? </p>

<p>1. does a boxspring make that big of a difference in terms of comfort?<br />
2. is buying/acquiring a used boxspring as disgusting as a buying/aquiring a used mattress?<br />
3. could I just buy a long piece of wood and put one under each mattress?? or a bunch of bricks?<br />
4. what do you think of a bunch of milk crates side by side in place of a boxspring?<br />
5. what is the purpose of a boxspring?<br />
